Irregular removal of garbage and an improperly washed dirty bucket after 4-6 hours will lead, to put it mildly, to an unpleasant odor with the multiplication of fungi and bacteria. But life is so arranged, human activity generates a lot of garbage waste (household, food), which should be disposed of in a timely manner. It so happened that the bin is the first step in the garbage disposal process.

When choosing a bucket for the home, pay attention to such parameters: size, shape, material from which this attribute of our life is made.
The size depends on the number of people living and on the area of the dwelling, on the frequency of waste disposal. If your family is large and you live in a large house, then the bucket can be large, respectively, if the family is small and the living space is not ample - you can buy a smaller bucket.
Buckets with a right angle are much more compact and convenient. They can be easily placed in the kitchen cabinet or mounted on the wall.
Various metal and especially chrome trash bins are considered the most durable. Also, they look imposing and can go up to any kitchen interior. Along with them, colored plastic, matching the color of the kitchen interior, will look no less attractive. Therefore, the choice is yours.
Thanks to modern technology, bins have become very diverse: a bucket with a color indicator, a press, a touch bucket, a composter bucket, with pull-out mechanisms. Therefore, each of us will be able to choose the most suitable trash bin.

Bin cleaning

1.       It is imperative to protect yourself from unpleasant odors and pathogenic bacteria if they have time to form in a bucket, from the use of cleaning products. Therefore, we strongly recommend wearing rubber gloves and a mask.

2.       Before washing, empty it of all contents. If the bucket is outside, then be careful, rodents or insects may be at the bottom of the bucket.

3.       Rinse the bucket with water. This process depends on its size, if the bucket is not large, then wash it in the sink or bathtub and pour water into the toilet, if it is a large street bucket, use a hose in the yard.

4.       Fill the bucket about a third with warm water.

5.       Add some bleach or ammonia. In no case DO NOT mix bleach and ammonia. Otherwise, a chemical reaction will occur during which toxic substances will be released.

6.       Leave the Plastic bin with the resulting composition to stand for a while.

7.       Wash the bucket with a brush or sponge (a piece of cloth can also be used). In this water, wash the lid of the bucket, do not forget to inspect all the edges where dirt often accumulates.

8.       Pour water from the bucket into the toilet bowl and wipe it with a dry cloth. If possible, leave to dry until completely dry, all smells will disappear.

9.       Before installing the tabs and garbage bags, make sure that the bucket is completely dry, the remaining moisture will lead to the formation of mold hazardous to health and the growth of bacteria.

Some tips for keeping the bin clean:
·         Choose high-quality trash bags to help avoid or minimize the number of liquids leaking onto the inside of the bucket.
·         Today in the household departments, you can find disinfectant wipes for bins. By wiping the bucket with such napkins after changing bags, you will extend the cleanliness of the bucket between its total cleanings.
·         It is recommended to wash the bin every two weeks. But if the liquid has spilled onto the surface, waste has gotten, or an unpleasant odor has appeared, then it's time to start cleaning.
Plastic bins hold odors stronger than metal ones.
These are the main recommendations for caring for the plastic bin, so sticking to them, you will not pinch your nose, going into the room where it is, and the bucket will always be clean.
