5 Ways to Reduce your Office Waste:

Are you concerned about the environment and have you thought about how to reduce personal waste? If yes, then you can become more attractive to consumption. Here are some effective ways to reduce your personal waste and take a green approach to life. Try these 5 effective ways to do that.

1.      Say no to the plastic:

One of the easiest ways to reduce the amount of plastic debris is to discard the plastic tube. For example, when ordering juice in a cafe, tell your waiter that you do not need a straw. The staff does not want to fulfill your "whim" or do you like to drink from a straw? Buy a glass or metal reusable bins and tube and carry it with you - when you see a personal accessory, you will definitely be left alone.

2.      Use reusable food bags:

About one million plastic bags are used every minute around the world. If you already go shopping with an eco-friendly bag for multiple use, you're on the right track. However, if you prefer to use plastic bags, try not to at least take a new one every time. And, if you still decide to replace them with reusable ones, do not take bags made of nylon or polyester - this is the same plastic bins.

3.      Avoid chewing gum:

Initially, chewing gum was made from rubber juice, but then scientists discovered a synthetic rubber consisting of polyethylene and polyvinyl acetate, which replaced natural rubber. Not only do you chew plastic, it can also be toxic - polyvinyl acetate is made using vinyl acetate, which causes tumors in laboratory rats.

4.      Buy products in cardboard packaging, instead of plastic:

Prefer the soap in the box rather than cellophane, take milk in a pack rather than a bottle, soda in glass. Later you can also give glass and cardboard for recycling, and they are better suited for this than plastic.

5.      Buy products in bulk and by weight:

The larger the volume, the less packaging material will be needed, because when packing takes into account not only the place occupied by the products, but also various marketing pieces, such as additional wrappers. If you take products by weight - for example, cereals or vegetables - you decide what to pack them yourself.
